Class Description:

• Protector Academy is USCCA’s tiered training and qualification program that is provided as part of USCCA membership. HS&D instructors are certified under multiple USCCA disciplines, and are authorized to administer Protector Academy Shooting Qualifications to USCCA members.

• In-Class: See, “USCCA Protector Academy”

• Range: 1 hour

Prerequisite:

• Must not be prohibited from possessing a firearm under Minnesota State Statute 624.714.

Protector Academy Range Qualification Level 1:

• USCCA Gold Membership;

• USCCA eLearning - Handgun Safety and Marksmanship Fundamentals;

• USCCA eLearning - Children’s Firearms & Safety Fundamentals: How to Teach Kids About Firearms

• Must take a 2-hour In-Person Firearms Class with a Certified Firearms Instructor

Protector Academy Range Qualification Level 2:

• USCCA Platinum Membership;

• USCCA eLearning - Defensive Shooting Concepts Level 2;

• USCCA eLearning - Emergency First-Aid Fundamentals

• Must take a 4-hour In-Person Firearms Class with a Certified Firearms Instructor

Protector Academy Range Qualification Level 3:

• USCCA Elite Membership;

• USCCA eLearning - Emergency Preparedness Fundamentals;

• USCCA eLearning Countering the Mass Shooter Threat;

• USCCA eLearning LaserTRAIN

• Must take a 6-hour Live-Fire Class with a Certified Firearms Instructor

Private Class Scheduling Considerations:

• Howe Safety & Defense, LLC. uses outdoor shooting ranges in Southern Minnesota. Please understand that we must work with our range partners to schedule our trainings in conjunction with their hours-of-operation and shooting events.

• Howe Safety & Defense, LLC. will attempt to schedule your private class or lesson within 2 to 4 weeks of your purchase date unless you request a later training date.

• Private classes and shooting lessons are booked first come first served.

• You may also first call (651) 472-3256 or email info@HoweSafetyDefense.com to request a specific training date. We recommend providing 2 weeks’ notice of your specific date, so we can attempt to accommodate it.
