This is a USCCA certified AR-15 Rifle course. This course is broken down into two segments consisting of a classroom presentation and live-fire shooting activities. The classroom presentation introduces students to the AR-15. Students will receive instruction on the AR-15’s design, its components, and its operating system. Students will also be provided with instruction on: safe use & handling; proper shooting fundamentals; and considerations for using the AR-15 in self-defense. The live-fire shooting portion allows students to effectively apply these techniques under the direction of a USCCA certified instructor. The context of this training is focused on an armed citizen’s response and use of the AR-15 in self-defense.
