HS&D - MN Permit to Carry & Defensive Tactics Awareness
Class Description:
This course prepares students with the knowledge and skills to successfully apply for the Minnesota, Florida, and Arizona Concealed Carry Permits. Students will demonstrate a practical understanding of: the fundamentals of pistol use and firearms safety; the legal aspects and ramifications of pistol possession, carry, and use; introduction into situational awareness and defensive tactics; an overview of applicable state laws; and demonstrate safe pistol usage while achieving defensive accuracy during a live fire shooting qualification.
In-Class: 4.5 hours
Range: 1 hour
Prerequisite:
Must not be prohibited from possessing a firearm under Minnesota State Statute 624.714.
